The Art of Public Speaking with Confidence

This course is essentially two pronged: (a) It will focus on some key aspects from the theory of communications and (b) participants will learn how to prepare material/s for a speech, and actually practice the art of speaking in public, both in formal and informal settings.
Individuals will learn the basic theory of communication which spells the key concepts involved. They will then develop skills to speak effectively with confidence. This skill opens doors for many careers, from professionals in front office services, to marketing and sales, to public relations, to teachers, lecturers, and all portfolios that require in-person/physical or online engagement with the public.
Sales and corporate communications personnel, mid-level executives and managers, doctors and health professionals, reporters and journalists, and teachers too. In a word, all those involved in interfacing with the public in order to present the organization’s message or news or to sell a product or service, etc.
As appropriate, lecturettes, power-point slides, video clips, charts, group discussion & activity, critical analysis, role play, participants’ presentation/s, feedback and review.
